Perhaps I should have made these letters say “BREATHE.”
I have presented HUNDREDS of seminars around the country over the years. And traveled THOUSANDS of miles on planes, trains, and automobiles. With suitcases full of books in tow. And even though they always get searched and “repacked” by TSA, I have never lost anything.
Until today.
Halfway through my third week in a row of #yalit seminars, I unpacked my “book” suitcase and discovered that easily 30% of my display stuff (books, book covers, teachers guides, etc) got left behind at yesterday’s seminar hotel. I HAVE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE. Crying just a little bit this morning. Okay, more than a little bit. 😭📚
UPDATE: hotel was contacted and they admit it was left behind (in a nice neat pile) but they THREW EVERYTHING AWAY. Now I am crying.
